National Gardening Week 28th April to 4th May 2019
We will be having plenty of events in store to celebrate the National Gardening Week.
Sunday 28th April Radio Lancashire will be broadcasting their ‘Outdoor Programme’ from the Garden Centre at 11am to 2pm. Come along and meet Stephen Lowe & the team. https://www.bbc.co.uk/radiolancashire
Monday 29th April Planting Demonstrations on how to fill Baskets, hanging baskets & Patio containers 11am to 12pm & 2pm to 3pm
Tuesday 30th April The Chorley & District Gardening Society will be offering demonstrations & advice on all plant related questions.
Wednesday 1st May Come along with any plant related queries & ask for the 'plant doctor'
Thursday 2nd May Free Talk with Marguerite Hughes who is a well known broadcaster, horticultural tutor and garden designer will be giving a talk titled "Gardening with Herbs & Companion Planting, including Fruit & vegetables in Containers". Friday 3rd May The Chorley in Bloom Community Group will be sharing their experiences in creating the projects that help make Chorley ‘Blooming Marvellous’ including the new edible garden project.
